An interpretation of Wurrkundurr: a protection fence used by aboriginal people (documented in Paul Memmott’s Gunyah Goondie + Wurley: The Aboriginal Architecture of Australia). By creating direction and outlook, and complementing this with enclosure behind for safety, people begin to feel at ease.
